The year was 1966 and Bruce Brown released his now timeless documentary film about finding the perfect wave. Filmed on location in Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii and California. Some of the best footage seen in any surfing movie and over night kids from all over dreamed of taking off on that "Endless Summer" vacation.

I lived in landlocked North Carolina at the time and remember as a kid in elementary school seeing this film with friends and then dreaming of traveling the world to exotic places. Several problems least of which I did not know how to surf.
